What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs unite farmers and families around fresh local food. The farmers grow a wide variety of vegetables in a natural, sustainable way and then pick them at the peak of flavor and nutrition. The community supports their local farmers by purchasing a share of the harvest, which is provided on a weekly basis during the growing season. Together the farmers and CSA members share in the rewards and risks of farming.

What is unique about our CSA?

Located in the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Greenfield Berry Farm aims to provide fresh, local, and naturally grown produce to our CSA members. To ensure consistent quality and quantity and provide more variety, we plan to work with other local farmers who share our passion for small-scale farming. Most of the produce will be from our farm with the remaining being grown by other local farmers.

What can I expect in my share?

Each week you can expect to receive a good variety of vegetables. Our goal is to provide enough produce for a
family of four each week to the best of our ability.

What types of shares are available?
  • Spring share (4 weeks starting in May)
  • Summer share (14 weeks, starting in June)
  • Fall share (4 weeks starting in October)

Please see our CSA brochure for details and pricing.

When and where do I pick up my share?

You will pick up your share each week on Friday between 5 and 7 pm at the Greenfield Berry Farm.

What crops can I expect?

You can expect to receive most veggies that can be grown in Northeast Ohio. Examples include lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, melons, green beans, peas, carrots, radishes, bok choy, cucumbers, squash, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, eggplant, kale, kohlrabi, onions, okra, spinach, etc.
